Where were you for Spring Break 1996?

I was living in Florida and was glued to the TV watching the above video performance of Glycerine live. MTV held their Spring Break event in Florida in 1996 and Bush headlined the show. They are quite possibly the last true rock band.

It’s worth noting that it was Bush who inspired me to learn how to play guitar. More importantly, it was because of Bush that Laura and I met, fell in love, and were married.

…and yes, I’m feeling nostalgic at the moment.
